He's not a bad kid.
Something just feels off.

You’ve seen him pull back — less drive, a shorter fuse, drifting without direction. Forge The Path gives boys the challenge, structure and strong male mentorship they need to grow into capable, grounded young men.

WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS

Forge The Path is an 8-week mentorship program for boys aged 14–18, built around three core foundations: resilience, responsibility, and respect.

We take small groups of 8–10 boys and put them through a program that challenges them physically and mentally, builds genuine self-awareness, and surrounds them with strong male mentors and like-minded peers.

RESILIENCE

Push through the hard moments.

RESPONSIBILITY

Own your actions and your future.

RESPECT

Earn it and give it.

This is not therapy. It is not a lecture series. It is structured, physical, and real — and by the end of 8 weeks,
your son will not be the same young man who walked in.

THE VILLAGE IS GETTING SMALLER

He doesn't need to be broken to need this. He needs people who expect more of him — and the environment to rise to it.

We've all heard "It takes a village" — but the village is getting smaller and smaller. Right now young adolescent boys don't have that village. Every boy needs people around them to help challenge them, hold them accountable, encourage them and be positive role models to help them discover what they're truly capable of.

Forge The Path exists to help young men build these qualities through challenge, structure and authentic mentorship.

WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO

Every week the boys come together for a structured 90-minute session. Every session follows a deliberate format designed to build both the body and the mind.

PHYSICAL CHALLENGE

Every session starts with movement. We push boys outside their comfort zone — using physical challenge to build discipline, confidence, and resilience.

TEAM & TRUST EXERCISES

Through group challenges and shared experience, boys build real connection, accountability, and brotherhood.

GROUP DISCUSSION

Real conversations — not lectures — about responsibility, behaviour, identity, and growth. Boys are heard, challenged, and respected in equal measure.

JOURNALING & SELF-AWARENESS

Boys are guided through structured journaling to develop self-awareness and take genuine ownership of their thoughts, behaviours, and choices.

BREATHWORK & REGULATION

Practical tools to stay composed under pressure — to regulate themselves when things get hard instead of reacting and shutting down.

REFLECTION & STANDARDS

Every session closes with gratitude, accountability, and a clear personal challenge for the week ahead.

This is not a passive program. Boys are expected to show up, participate fully, and hold themselves to a standard.

WHAT YOUR SON WILL GAIN

AND AT HOME, YOU WILL LIKELY NOTICE:

WHO THIS IS FOR

This program is for boys who need structure, challenge, and the right environment to grow. Your son does not need to be a problem child to benefit. Most of the boys we work with are good kids who simply haven’t had
what unlocks their potential yet.

Lack direction or seem lost

React poorly under pressure or when things don't go their way

Struggle with discipline or follow-through

Need stronger male influences and a better peer group

Avoid challenge or give up easily

Are capable of more but haven't found what unlocks it yet

HELPING YOUNG MEN FIND DIRECTION & PURPOSE

Forge The Path is a mentorship program for young men aged 14–18. It is a structured 8 week program built around three core pillars — resilience, responsibility, and respect. The program runs in small groups of 8–10 boys and combines physical challenge, journaling, breathwork, group discussion, and team exercises into a 90-minute weekly session. It is led by two co-founders, Jake and Mark, who bring lived experience and a background in psychology and education respectively.

The target audience for the website is parents — specifically mothers and fathers of teenage boys who feel their son is lost, disengaged, lacking direction, or in need of stronger male influence and structure in his life. The website needs to speak directly to that parent, build trust quickly, and move them toward getting in touch.

WHO WE ARE

Together we bring what most programs simply don’t have — real lived experience alongside genuine structure and education. Two very different angles that work powerfully together.

Jake

Co-Founder · Coach · Father

Jake grew up without direction — rough upbringing, wrong choices, no roadmap for what it meant to become a man. He’s been to the edges of where that path leads, and found his way back through discipline, hard work, and purpose. Today he is a father, a business owner, and a coach who has dedicated his career to helping others build strength from the inside out. He brings lived experience no university can teach.

Mark

Co-Founder · Educator · Father

Mark has spent 15 years in classrooms and holds a deep background in psychology and education. He understands how young people think, learn, and develop — and he has dedicated his career to getting the best out of them. As a father himself, he brings both professional expertise and genuine personal investment to every session.

THE ENVIRONMENT

We keep groups deliberately small — 8 to 10 boys per term. Small groups mean individual attention, real accountability, and a strong group culture that simply doesn’t exist in larger programs. Sessions run weekly for 90 minutes and include both indoor and outdoor elements. Throughout the term boys will experience training, nature, reflection, and real-world challenges — all within a safe, structured environment.

WHAT WE ASK OF PARENTS

We know handing your son over to a program takes trust. We don’t take that lightly. In return we will keep you informed throughout the term, maintain regular communication about your son’s progress, and always operate with his safety and wellbeing as our first priority.

What we ask from you is simple: back the process.

Boys respond best when the adults in their life are aligned. If you’re committed to his growth, we will match that commitment every single week.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

This 8-week program is the beginning — not the end. Boys who complete the program have the opportunity to  progress into advanced groups, take on leadership roles, and eventually mentor the next intake of young men coming through. The goal is not just to change individual boys. It is to build a community of young men who hold each other to a standard, challenge each other to grow, and become the kind of men their families and communities are proud of.

That starts with one term. One group. One decision to say yes.
